This week, we take a step back and look at the current weekly Turkish TV lineup as a whole.
We talk about the series that are keeping our attention including Daha 17, Ömür Usta, Uzak Şehir, Evlilik Güzeldir, Tuzlu Kahve and Muhtemel Aşk and why some of them are standing out.
We especially praise Tuzlu Kahve and Evlilik Güzeldir for bringing something a little different to the screen with their family comedy/drama tone, while other projects feel much more familiar.
That leads us to Anne Yarısı and Sevdan Bir Ateş, both of which remind us strongly of Uzak Şehir which is now entering its third season. And even though Uzak Şehir is still one of the shows we follow closely, we also have thoughts about some of its newer storylines and why they may be testing the audience’s patience.
We also discuss Ömür Usta as one of the highlights of the season. Listen for an extensive view of the general lineup and our thoughts on almost all the projects as well as our recommendations for various genres.
